• Is this event for Jeeps only? No. This event is open to all vehicle makes and models that are used for outdoor camping, off-roading, or overlanding. We simply came up with the name "Jasper Jeep Jam" because we liked the way it sounded, it was simple, and we thought it had a nice ring to it. My wife has a Toyota 4-Runner and I have a Jeep Wrangler; we will both be there with our vehicles; and there will be Jeeps, 4-Runners, Tacomas, and all types of vehicles.

  • Are there camping spots available "away" from the main event area? Yes. If you are interested in a more remote camping area, please send us a request once tickets have been purchased. This area is marked in our venue site map page and labeled as area 14 (overflow for 3-day pass camping).

  • Do we need to have a special roof-top tent or a special type of "overlanding" vehicle to camp out at this event? Absolutely not. We all start somewhere. We like to use the fancy term "overlanding" now-a-days, I guess, because that's the official or popular term for 4-wheel drive camping out in the woods. Folks have been "overlanding" for years and it doesn't require fancy vehicle set-ups. A vehicle (preferably able to drive through off-road trails), a ground tent, ice chest, a Coleman stove, lantern or flashlight, and a chair to sit in; are the basics of overlanding equipment. And like any hobby, we can choose to make it simple and buy the basics of what is necessary, we can choose to spend every last dollar we make on it, or land somewhere in the middle. It's more about getting to and finding new places and spending time there to enjoy the wonderful outdoors. This event is intended to help like-minded folks connect and spend some time together, learn a few things from each other or from our several classes, see some available products for overlanding, enjoy some entertainment and food, and have a great time. If this is "up your alley" or sounds interesting and want to learn more; come join us.... We look forward to seeing your there!!!
