Jasper Jeep Jam
Overland Hall of Fame
Each year we will induct someone to our Jasper Jeep Jam and Overlanding Hall of Fame...
This is a person who we feel has stood out in our local overlanding community. Whether it be specifically in overlanding, outdoor philanthropy efforts, or any efforts that positively affect overlanding within the Ozark National Forest and deserves to be recognized. It is our small way of saying "thank you" to someone deserving.
2025 Inductee: Randy Putt w/ Natural State Overland
Randy has distinguished himself in the Ozark Overlanding Community for many years. He is known as "the godfather of overlanding" in the Ozarks and has been instrumental in making the Arkansas Ozarks one of America's top spots for overlanding. He is the founder of Rendezvous in the Ozarks overland rally, and hosts the Natural State Overland Facebook group page. Randy is committed to promoting, preserving, and protecting overlanding in the Ozark National Forest and truly deserves to be recognezed for his many efforts!

Schedule of Events

Connect with like-minded people.
Get ideas to improve your current overland set up or find some inspiration for a future project.
Check out the latest gear.
Improve your knowledge.
Test your new gear in a controlled setting.
Enjoy a weekend of entertainment.
Meet and network with fellow overlanders, YouTubers, and podcasters face to face. Folks are generally eager to answer questions and share their experiences with others in this community. What a great place to make friendships around a campfire. Maybe find out about new places to overland. Network with new folks to go out on a weekend camping trip with.
Go check out all the vehicles attending the rally. Ask the owners about their build or how they like a specific item. Again, folks are generally eager to share their experiences in this community. Where else can you check out, in person, so many different builds. You just might save yourself some money or a big headache down the road, simply by asking someone about it.
Browse through the vendors, who bring the newest gear and gadgets to these rallies. Some vendors offer exclusive in-person discounts at these events. You can physically see many of these products in use and see vendors demonstrate all of the ends and outs with their products.
Different types of training classes are normally being taught throughout the day at these events. Everything from vehicle recovery to first aid to navigation. Many of these certified courses and instructors cost quite a bit of money for one person; but that cost is spread out at an overlanding rally and usually included in the ticket price.
One thing about an overlanding rally is that there is never a lack of help nearby. Got a new tent, installed a new winch, new camp kitchen, maybe you just bought a new vehicle or just finished your "build", or maybe not confident about doing this for the first time. What a great place to test it out; with so much knowledge in one place, people willing to lend a hand, vendors who may have parts/pieces you need, and maybe the best part..... you're not alone in the middle of nowhere!
Is this your hobby or are you interested in it? Spend the whole weekend at one of these events. Is it going to cost you a couple hundred bucks? Maybe so. Think about what you are getting for that price. Two to three nights of a camping spot ($20 or $30/night), hands-on training classes (put a price on that), a live band every night ($10 cover charge), Ticket for each nightly drawing (thousands of dollars in nightly give aways), access to vendors and youTubers/Podcasters, event swag bags, and dont forget that you are basically at a small convention for overlanders. That is a weekend quite full of entertainment.... yeah, its worth it!
